Hopefully I made good choices. I'm reading mixed reviews about the LM001's. :ohdear:

Dang I went he opposite way and got the cheapest wheels and most expensive blizzaks. Kind of hosed myself last winter by putting them on too early but doesn’t look like I lost much tread at all. Those are very nice winter wheels can’t wait to see them on the car.

I like the drift stick but I don’t pay 1k like the drift stick.

Isn't Ford being run by engineers right now? Is that a thing people say?

Sadly the CEO that was pushing out all the ford performance stuff is gone, and the new guy seems focused on crossovers, hybrids, and driverless tech.

I'd still take the RS just for the 4wd of the winter.

what?
Agreed. Even if the Type-R didn't look like a spaceship I'd still pretty much immediately ignore it due to its competition all being AWD. The lower tier cars like ST and GTI already push the limits of what's reasonable for FWD once tuned. Anything further up the line needs to be driving the rear wheels too, at least occasionally.

I dreamt I was an old dog, stuck in a honeypot. It was horrifying.
I'd take the R because having DSG and a nice interior is worth giving up 3.5 seconds in lap time.

That's the one I'm planning to go with. Looks decent and is cheap. Don't have to pull the bumper or cut it either.

I went with the ecohitch that requires pulling the bumper and cutting it and it took a few hours to install, but wasn't tough at all. I like how high up it sits compared to the curt hitch I had on my TDI that scraped on everything. More expensive and more involved to install but without a doubt it was worth it.

Nope, stock ride height and didn't keep poo poo in the back either that would have weighed it down. Maybe my area just has lovely driveways

Edit: I had a dream Ford did a 180, kept the Fiesta in the US AND announced a Fiesta RS.

Make your own, buy a used fist for 15k, throw 3-5k in parts at it, have a better car than whatever they would’ve badged as the RS.

My car on e30 and upgraded turbo didn’t lose any ground on the straights to a FBO focus RS at my last track day. If he was a better driver he would have had better lap times than me but as far as straightline speed he was shocked I was keeping up :getin:

Lol, you sound like you're 16 and know nothing about cars. If it doesn't exist on an already built oem version of that car, fat chance somebody is going to design an awd system and then redesign the rear suspension given the huge cost involved...on an economy car.

I thought he was somewhat sarcastically pointing out that there's no AWD bolt on, so you can't make something that would be a "Fiesta RS" with bolt ons. But maybe not, I dunno...

Tbh even if Ford made a fiesta RS the odds of it being awd seem very low.

E: although I guess historically RS models have been awd...

Its not unfeasible that the Fiesta could be AWD. I mean there is Fiesta rally cars that are AWD.

Still, you arent buying an off the shelf bolt in kit unless one of those rally reams is selling one.

It's Rhyno. His posts practically invite people to make fun of him. :) He's been around long enough (and knew the answer to his question obviously before asking it). I wouldn't try to burn a newer poster or somebody I didn't recognize. Take it easy, internet defender.
