It's a win-win situation for Trump and Republicans to just take a steaming beer poo poo all over the CFPB leadership question. It's a functioning CFPB that pisses off their financial overlords. If they can't immediately dismantle it like every other piece of government then just throwing legal hand grenades at it until someone can't juggle them all keeps their donor cash rolling in. The entire platform of the GOP is "government doesn't work, vote for me and I'll make sure of it" so paralyzing it with frivolous bullshit is just fine.

If he has family in North Korea they're probably already dead or dying in labour camps. They like to punish the family's of people that defy them.

I worked with him over the summers, and then a bit after I got out of the Army before I went into school. He told me that he doesn't care what I do, just do it well and don't work construction. You know, this reminds me a little of something I read. A guy made a phone app that was briefly famous (wasn't Flappy Bird but something like it) and he talked about how it was unreal making money off it felt. In particular he said one day he was laying in bed and realized he had made more money overnight while asleep than his single mom had made working hard as gently caress all year. He struggled with feelings of shame and guilt and it was just plain weird.

Saying that poo poo in the middle of a ceremony honoring loving Native American veterans is a whole other level of hosed up.
