interesting to see the death stranding trailer go all in on the rope imagery considering: “The stick is the first tool that mankind created to put distance between himself and bad things – to protect himself,” Kojima said. “The second tool mankind created is a rope. A rope is a tool used to secure things that are important to you.” “Most of your tools in action games are sticks. You punch or you shoot or you kick. The communication is always through these sticks,” Kojima continued. “I want people to be connected not through sticks, but through what would be the equivalent of ropes.”

Looking at their FY2018 income their games division has marginally gone down (this includes casino games) but profit from digital games has increased almost 40% which is insane. Then I realized they released a soccer mobile game to the world and a Yu-Gi-Oh mobile game in Korea so it all makes sense.

Guys that trailer is definitely not Bloodborne 2. It had a clearly eastern theme with the music and background which isn't related to Bloodborne at all.

I mean, really, I hope it isn't Bloodborne 2. I've tended to find the direct sequels the least interesting of the Souls games, so I'd rather see them do something entirely new, or revitalize something they haven't touched in a long time (like Tenchu or Shadow Tower). If they were ever going to make a Bloodborne 2-type thing, I'd prefer that it be a spiritual successor that takes Bloodborne's style of gameplay and puts it in a new setting. Evolve something out of Bloodborne like how Dark Souls did with Demon's, basically.

It's obviously a crossover with Tomb Raider since they are also tweeting hints about Shadows.

I don't think the gameplay improvements between Demon's and Dark were because they had to pretend it was a new series. I think they just improved what was a very rough first game like any good developer would and they had way more time to work on it then the other sequels because the there was no demand for it. I can't imagine Dark Souls would have been a drastically different game if it had been Demon's Souls 2

I can't imagine Dark Souls would have been a drastically different game if it had been Demon's Souls 2 It's not so much the gameplay improvements, but the world, setting, and atmosphere. I think From is most successful at those things when they're working with an entirely new setting. Neither Dark Souls 2 or 3 has the same sort of grip on me when I play them as Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, or Bloodborne, and I think that's probably because there's less of a sense of mystery and discovery along the way.

Dude, they're not going to go cheaper for the Christmas sale. The price you see here is what you get. Also on the off chance that they do, the difference is going to be, what, a few dollars? You can eat that. Get in there and play some good games.

Edith Finch was great, my only real complaint is I wish I could move a bit faster. I liked Tacoma a little bit more though as a walking sim game just cause it nailed the ending so drat well, I loved it. And then Night in the Woods knocked it out of the park in general. I love these types of games you guys exquisite tea posted:NITW is real good and I haven't played Edith Finch yet but would like to. Maybe after Tacoma. Hey I think you should play them all
