I know Mario's Odyssey is POTY (Platformer of the Year) but I downloaded Spelunker Party last night and it's pretty rad. I tried the Japanese demo when it first came out and thought "This is okay" but felt like it was maybe :10bux: too much when the English release finally came out. It's been on sale for a while pretty much at the price point where I had thought "I'd probably buy it for that much" so I finally bought it.

The first reaction might be "man, I'm dying all the time, this fall damage is on some Mario in Donkey Kong poo poo" but once you get used to that the game is actually really fun, you just have to watch the environment and be considered and deliberate in your movements. The art is also really cute and yout get doggos which sit on your head sometimes

On Wii U if you bought one of the Bayos digitally it just gave you a discount on the other so it'll probably just do that again.

Will the physical version of Bayonetta 2 have it for free? I'm not hard up for Bayonetta 1, but i'm lazy and don't want to putz with cables to hook up my 360

If you buy Bayo 2, it's $49.99 and makes Bayo $9.99. if you buy Bayo at $29.99, Bayo 2 is $29.99. Same as Wii U pricing

Hahaha no. The USB-C spec is a minefield, you'll have to google for a guide on trustworthy cables that people have tested with their Switch and verified it doesn't catch fire. FWIW I use an Anker USB-C charger and cable and they appear to work just as well as my dock.

Just get any 4.5 star or above on amazon, I’ve used a cable matters one for a while now and it’s fine.

There is nothing wrong with the spec, just people who make lovely non-complaint cables, as in most industries. The days of huge markups on cables (at least online) are long gone, you get what you pay for.

It's 18 bucks on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The console versions are based on those mobile phone versions. Might be 20-25.

1) Shut up nerd 2) The spec gives manufacturers lots of options for which various standards for power and data transfer a given cable will support, which means there's a variety of cables out there that provide different and variously compatible features that are all technically "compliant" and all look the same. And if you mix and match cables and devices incorrectly, you might luck out and start a fire. This is called "a loving mess" that "sucks for consumers like you and I"

It's more that Nintendo has a broader fanbase, I guess. I don't know how else to put it. There are plenty of people that own an XBox or a PS4 that also have a Switch, but not many with both an XBox and a PS4.

Also even though the Wii U was bad it had good games.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but are there any new additions confirmed for bayonetta 1/2 for the switch?

If not, is it just going to be the wii u version but maybe looking slightly better or something and on the switch? I already have the wii u version but I never actually played them for various reasons and if the switch has any exclusive content then I might as well just sell the wii u copies and put that cash towards getting the switch versions.

Yeah I just got nailed on the finish line while I was in first and came in 6th while playing online .

I just hate the amount of power ups and how canned they feel. The results feel designed by an algorithm. It's annoying as gently caress online but even worse single player, because having to redo a whole circuit to get 3 stars because the game decided to randomly gently caress me is annoying as hell. It's just all around a very annoying game. I didn't care at first but now that I'm getting deeper into it it's been getting under my skin.

I don't remember that being the case on SNES. I remember this poo poo from the 3ds one I played a lot but I don't recall it being nearly as bad. Really all I've played are this one, SNES and every portable version. Never played DD, 64 or the Wii one a whole lot.

The main learning curve for Mario Kart for me was learning the courses, once you know how to get through them optimally bots become so easy to deal with you can sleep walk through GPs

Japanese people with 30,000 rank online will put the fear of God in you, though

e also learning a character/kart combo that clicks for you
