It's pretty natural for him to be the way he is, and it's fantastic.

Saw premium cylinders in a shop yesterday and ended up buying 50 of them because I was sitting on 1.7m gold at the time and hopefully I won't regret it when I go to use them. Not that I had much other use for the money unless I go buy the one rare blade for 500k. Also got what I'm guessing is the healing blade for Rex people were talking about. Got it after a boss fight that just would notend. I'm not sure if there was a specific way to stop them from constantly resummoning adds every time I got the enemy count low but I ended up getting probably 1.5-2 levels from that boss fight before it ended. I was not enjoying the area's gimmick either, to put it mildly. So glad it's over with. I take it using Rex with that new blade is more than enough healing if I run Tora and the fifth party member, or is it better to keep Rex as a pure attacker and just run Nia with heals, and maybe an attack? I probably need to go do some more Tiger Tiger for Tora though. I just can't bring myself to use the 4th party member because they seem to die so much quicker.

Stayed at the Argentum Inn exactly once and Dagas told me to go to the Orl Cloudway exit in Leftheria so I think that's the quest started properly e: heart-to-heart there unlocked level 4 of his chart and then I had the Trust for 5 which told me to go to Midorl Bridge in Mor Ardain in the afternoon for his quest "Lost Kingdom" and you literally can port there and it's 20 distance away to start it e2: you have to visit the bookshops in order, apparently, that's awful ugh DACK FAYDEN fucked around with this message at 18:23 on Dec 15, 2017 |

Endgame spoilers: Was the third processor thing that got lost in spacetime a reference to XB1 or one of the other xeno games or is it just worldbuilding. Just seemed kind of odd for him to mention "oh yeah there was one more but it got lost oops" if it didn't mean anything. I'm still on the last boss thought incase it comes up in the actual ending.

(Vess has Forestry, if you don't have her you can get a guaranteed source of it by doing her sidequest and waiting on her core to cooldown)

I think all that matters is that you trade in the stuff in the same place you salvaged it because they’re more likely to actually be looking for local stuff. I have no idea what causes the "blade will hit an undamaged, out of order, not-weak element orb instead of the one it should default to" but it is loving infuriating. It's clear why people say to have each character with 1 blade that has the "always hit X orb" aux enhancement because you can't trust the drat game otherwise.
