Has Iron Man done anything super-badass and over the top like this and his super move since MvC etc? The only thing I could kinda think of was in World War Hulk where he has like an orbital satellite that blasts him IIRC.

To me it's honestly still hard to believe that we got the Hulkbuster armour in action in not just one film, but two. It wasn't that long ago that it would show up in a list along the likes of "did you know Spider-Man once beat up a herald of Galactus?" or "did you know Captain America was a werewolf for a while?" Now it's common knowledge among the general public.

Speaking of which, I’d pay good money to see Spider-Man’s dune buggy in the MCU.

The setup for the Spider-Mobile has never been easier post-Homecoming. His relation to Stark and Stark tech is established, there's Chitauri tech too, his suburban misadventure provides an opportunity to think up alternatives to webswinging, and the tone of the MCU Spider-Man works perfectly.

I actually wouldn't even have Spider-Man drive it. It'd work so much better in a chase sequence if it was Ganke driving along the sides of buildings and firing web cannons while Spider-Man is off somewhere else.

For the new DBZ fighter coming out next month, people have been posting videos and screencaps of the game footage to show that most of the characters' moves come directly from the manga. Not just the big ki attacks, either. All of their punches and kicks.

It’s insane how those fighters look just like the animated show. The graphics are outstanding.

It blows my mind that they're 3D models too. Why Arc System Works hasn't licensed out their fighting game engine as the new "anime generator" is beyond me.

They have to pull a lot of bizarro tricks to get that 2D look down- and it only works when you're looking at it straight on.

This video from GDC2015 is pretty long but thorough:

I really have never been very good at fighting games (mostly the button input part, makes me doubly sad I missed out on all the Smash games) and I think I've owned only two in my entire life... but man do I want to play Fighterz so badly.

drat. Same guy drew both of those? That double page spread is really good. Maybe he's like the opposite of most of comic artists and just hates doing action panels.

It really seems like the guy does amazing backgrounds and then just gets bored drawing people.

sort of but not quite on the level of this, there was the time he chased the mandarin's ring to svartalfheim and made a suit fully made of iron with iron weaponry. i think the first thing he did was warcrimes the elfs by spraying iron filings but i cant find that panel easy, just the followup with him spookin the ones that didnt get killed by the iron chaff

Good god, going from MC Wyman with Thomas writing to Deodato and Ellis writing is god damned whiplash.

And yes, this storyline does have a British detective who keeps getting yelled at about smoking. It's Ellis after all.
