Haha thanks. I do find there's this real testosterone aura with the car - especially on the motorway. Downshift, rip it for a second, do anything that excites and you'll see everything from utes, SUVs, to random priuses just suddenly haul rear end and weave in traffic. The aura is more potent with snails in the drainpipe I think. More excited honking anyway.

I've got this vid, let's see how it comes out (from FB):

I don't know if this came up before and I missed it, but I was listening to an interview with the director of the latest Thor movie (I haven't seen it yet) and he mentioned that he named all the spaceships in the film after Holden's. :q:

For most Audi wagon nerds, yes. I actually used mine the weekend before I took this photo and was too lazy/cold to take it off. I also need to hang a mount for it in my garage since this box is slightly longer than my old one. Otherwise I'd take it off since it's noisy and affects gas mileage.

Ok thats a lot better than just buying it and never using it. I can't judge though, I have a tire with no wheel strapped to my roof for that safari look. :v:

Having a box on an AWD wagon just for show is... ugh.

I think that's the actual opposite of me having a roof rack that I use on my cabrio. I should put a box on it.

Yeah it's just a sun visor, the lights are hooked up to go on when the regular lights go on. It's kind of like a little hat for my truck. :3:

It also exists to kill my mpg along with the tire.

Sometimes you need to carry skis and other stuff and its way nicer having them in a box on the roof then in the car.

I can fit around 5 pairs of skis and a few snowboards in this box, that I use on my SUVs as well for the same reason.

I'm mad I can't find a roof box with more than 8ft of internal length. I need 6" more of length to keep fishing rods inside the wagon without them poking me in the back of the head. Every box I find is 6-12" too short to keep an 8ft rod in. I should probably just find shorter fishing rods.
