I kind of think Gastelum is at the very peak of where he's getting at MW. Fighting Weidman it really showed that he just doesn't have the size to tackle these enormous cuts-from-220 middleweights, and basically everyone above him is that kind of guy. Except for Whittaker, but I really don't see his bullish style getting over the absolute pure craftsmanship of Bobby Knux. It looks really awkward, and I wonder if it's straight up bad striking or it's something he's adapted in sparring to get his range and timing to where he needs it.

Probably the most interesting thing off that Woodley podcast is that he said the judge who gave him a 10-8 first round and a 10-9 fourth round in the first Wonderboy fight said he scored it that way because he "wasted a minute in the guillotine" That or Tyron saying he's scared of Khabeeb

I think Anik is generic and unmemorable but he's only really bad when he interrupts fighters trying to be memorable in post fight interviews to force them to answer the generic questions about the fight the truck wrote for him.
