Like my encounters are Kid Buu is in more than 80% of my matches and is always the point character Goku/Vegeta/Gohan/Beerus are super common Cell/Pickles/Freeza are uncommon I've seen like 5 18/Nappa players tops And a single Krillin. Is there any way to match against a specific person in the beta? I'm completely incapable of learning a fighting game without training mode and I have a few friends who want to try to workshop stuff.

Thoughts from a scrub who is bad at fighting games: -Some characters seem to be able to get a lot of pressure against others out of super dashing in the air and using then using their air normals, since blocking the super-dash pushes the attacker back a fair way. I played as 18 against a Piccalo who was using it to mix-up and it was incredibly hard for me to do anything. -18 is really fun once you get in and start hitting people with your tiny limbs. Her medium attack where she hops in the air and does an overhead (I think?) is very good. -In a game without flashy normals Cell seems to have lots of priority on his, and is a really complete character in general. I like how this game is "choose who you like, have fun" unlike other fighting games. The incidental dialogue is pretty great too.
