There’s no sense of scale there, but is that big enough to hollow out and put on an RC chassis? That’s be cool as gently caress.

A lot of 3D printers max out at maybe 30cm on the diagonal. The new Creality has 40cm and 50cm long beds, though. At which point the usual PLA plastic would get kinda crispy for any crashes.

RC car electronics are hilariously small these days, if you wanted to you could totally make it work at that size. Obviously bigger motors mean more speed, but if you just want to drift around the garage floor you don't need to get silly with it.

Definitely a first gen Celica would be sweet. http://hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Nissan_Skyline_2000GT-R There's a kenmeri GT-R already. Admittedly, I only know cause I got one at the store on Tuesday, but still.

Rigged Death Trap posted:gently caress man now im getting flashbacks The IDx actually came up on conversation with some Nissan people when I was on the Leaf drive. Basically, the story is that because Nissan is pretty small compared to other OEMs, it’s never going to invest in a niche platform for the IDx, and it doesn’t have any other existing platforms it could adapt to make the IDx.

If you run Windows 10, just try the one on the windows store to see if you'll enjoy it at all. As for the "best one" that's kind of a charged question because people are gonna be real mad about their pay to win schemes. In general, just get whatever's newest. If want a more arcadey game, get Horizons.

Applebees Appetizer posted:To continue the Forza talk, which is the best one? I've never owned an xbox, but I'm considering getting one just to get Forza. I haven't played any of the ones on the Xbox One X Box, but the regular Forza and Horizon games on the 360 were all solid. Horizons is more arcadey (i played maybe eight hours of it over a free weekend, had a 1000hp RS2000 that was more or less undriveable, that was fun), and the regular Forza games are more sim (adjust camber, caster, individual gear ratios, front/rear downforce, etc). Each successive Forza game added some new little features, but I don't remember anything super great, other than Forza 2 being a nice improvement over Forza 1. Graphics got better each game, and I think Forza 4 had some sort of "showroom" mode with voiceovers from Jeremy Clarkson. I haven't played a huge selection, but I think the Forza series is probably my favorite racing game(s) of all time, with the possible exception of the old NFS: Porsche Unleashed PC game. Edit: Oh, the most fun part of Forza for me is the ludicrous engine swaps it'll let you do, although it only lets you swap specific engines into specific cars, from what I remember it always has to stay the same brand. I think you can put a 20B in a Miata, for example, or a NASCAR V8 in an old Chevelle or something, C5R engine in an old Camaro, etc.
