There are a lot of cool documentaries on naval kitchens. Cool for people who go out of their way to look up documentaries on naval kitchens. The answer is generally: Not very, trending towards not.

But since that ship doesn't have a kitchen that I'm aware of I would guess they just get their food from the props department or maybe catering?

WTF is the story behind that?

Well, everybody already answered but I think the "old lady does her best to restore a painting of Jesus and ends with *that*" is actually a pretty sweet story. She really was trying her best, and in her eyes everything was fine, but in reality the game painting, instead of the regular one everybody expected, became an abomination. She just was over her head.

My favorite details is that she added the rolled parchment effect (backwards) to the lower half, such attention to detail.

Although, in the end, she created a more remarkable (and profitable!) painting than the original, so I guess the analogy breaks there, unless there is a big market for dumpster fires in the space video game world.

On a scale of 1-10. How cultlike is this MoMA?

His penmanship is loving atrocious, and it looks like he gave up trying around 5th grade.

However in his defense, it seems like a lot of guys (males specifically), do not really seem to care about their handwriting and penmanship skills. They do not seem to really take time to develop a good, stylized signature. And I’ve seen this with some very smart men, too. Even doctors can write like they are in the 6th grade sometimes.

This is just my opinion, and not meant to be bashing men any. I’m just speaking from experience that men seem to care less about writing and signatures than women do. I don’t know why this is. Ask men who write poorly (or women because I’m sure there are terrible women who can’t write either).

Because I love CRs story telling, and the cool and awesome game Squad 43 based on the Idris class of potato, I figured I’d look up what it is.

So... here’s what I learned and it’s p cool and I can totally see why the hope of all humanity is based on this.

Apparently this awesome ship can be crewed by 8 people minimum, and up to a huge and awesome 28.

I got bored at this point and saw it also had fuel tanks and stuff that do things with numbers.

I didn’t see how many fighters it can hold in its belly. I also saw it’s being built into the game as we speak.

I guess for reference a destroyer in today’s modern navy can have a crew close to 300 people. But I guess this is space magic so 28 is really close to 250-ish for a modern frigate or whatever it is supposed to compare to. The Nimitz aircraft carrier has over 6000 people aboard it.

So I guess all the big names and hero’s of CRs story are the throw away people in their army that are just thrown into the worst ship with the minimum capabilities to do whatever it does.

That’s my professional analysis of the thing, and I hope the Skadden people can somehow use CRs inability to even concoct a decent storyline as a grounds for why the game shouldn’t be made. Skadden intern: feel free to use this in your defense. My sources are highly placed google results and stuff on Wikipedia so you know I did all the research here.

Pretty sure it’s common knowledge that a military mess hall is the training ground for Emeril grade cooks. Each station has a bouquet of delicious options for a crewman to pick from and they definitely don’t all have eat the same thing because that’s what was cooked that day by sweaty kitchen staff.

Each dish is also prepared to exquisite perfection, instead of haste and a lack of care.

Though I do subtract some reality points because I don’t think I see a dish featuring proper garnishes which is what real servicemen have come to expect from their daily messhall feasts.

This is probably true. Which is how he had to have his huge crew max out at 28. How could the army afford to pay more than that?

And remember that when you graduate the army, you get a space ship. This is like everybody who leaves service with a military service gets to take a tank, or a jet, or something like that with them as a going away present.

I don’t know about you but I can’t wait for the story because I can’t wait to learn whether or not Sandi’s drug pushing character and her dad the famous actor can save humanity from itself for being stupid enough to not know there was a secret jump point above England (British tax credits !) that the evil bad guy enemy is going to use to wipe every woman on Earth out.
