They just announced new tour dates. One of them is here in July. I'm even more excited for that show now :swoon:

That's a good sequence. That's Jon Meiburg's (Shearwater) offshoot project. The second single is kinda hypnotizing too

The Garden, indie-pop-punk heartthrobs put out a new single yesterday from their upcoming album being released march 30th. It has real nice synthy sounds and a moody bassline.

https://youtu.be/NNNxha7Mk-E

I don't know if the garden is popular or not but they're twins who play drum and bass and are cool models sometimes, here's a quote from one of them about how he tries to dress,

"I always try to look like if I was watching a cartoon or something, and I saw a character and was like, 'That’s a really cool character' and dressed just like it, but in human form. Specifically, a cartoon called Yuyu Hakusho—it’s my favorite anime."

They're touring with the Tijuana Panthers and Cowgirl clue all through America and the EU soon so check them out if you like them, i guess. Their song Egg is also pretty good.

Tickets are actually at the low end of expensive for us, but because it's at a vineyard outside the city I'd have to fork out an extra $30 for the coach service.

Just spent $280 (after fees) on a pair of Elton John tickets for my wife's birthday.

That's as high as I'll ever go and only because it's Elton John. Everything else is $100 max for bucket listers and below.

Yep a fuckin' 3 year, 300 date "Farewell Tour" ha.

I normally wouldn't worry with it, but I drag my wife to all of the shows I want to go to so I thought I'd treat her.

It was $120/ticket for the 100 level (220-900 for floor loving lol). Also staying at the Hyatt House right by the Smoothie King center so that doubles the price.

ffffff.

Time to go sell some poo poo.

National tickets were only $42 for the best seats last week.

This past year and upcoming year are insane for me live music wise. Radiohead, The Avett Brothers twice, U2 twice, Elton John, The National, tons of local bands and Dave Matthews (only because he's playing in town). U2/TheNational/DMB all coming in May.

I saw 'em last weekend in Asheville and their live show blew me away. My wife and I listened to the new album on the way up and was somewhat surprised they didn't play more off the new album. That was somewhat of a bummer considering we really really like the new album. A lot. They still played pretty much everything we'd wanna hear from a TMBG show. We had poo poo-eating-grins on our face the whole time. The venue we were at was super intimate as well and we were right up front. They played for 3 hours minus a twenty minute break. I'd go see 'em again this second if they were nearby.

edit: Here's a few shots we got, pardon sweater-man:
