Could have been, there's a bunch of ways idiots can unseat their tyres though. And that trick works, just generally not with tyres that aren't huge 4WD tyres.

Non-chlorinated at least, and it was to mount truck tires not 225's on a 9" rim. I got it on the first try, but it was still terrible car stuff though. The terribl-er car stuff was the tire shop that couldn't mount 255's on an 8" Enkei RT6 and completely hosed up one of my wheels trying.
