 [Luxe: 25] Kalpernicus watched with bated breath as Lucinda VIII Keel-Thoristew foolishly fiddled with the unknown tech that had been so nonchalantly placed in her nimble, eager hands. With a few experimental prods, she somehow managed to attach the broken delivery drone's positrator nodes into the QED Terminal's reception interface. Miraculously, the QED Terminal accepted the widget's "offering" and incorporated the broken drone into itself, restructuring itself entirely and becoming something far more fearsome and greater than the sum of its parts. The newly-fashioned Quartz Kal could take no credit for its creation, but he could have a hand in influencing how the QED got used. He updated his Wrecker Challenges to reflect his feelings towards the world (and to time travelers) at large.

More iteration on the drone delivery system was definitely something he felt necessary, but how best to go about it? Really, the only way to improve the system was gathering telemetry from experimental drones carrying multiple items to multiple wreckers. Transmat Biological Sample from downed Wrecker Kondo. 5. Transmat Biological Samples from 4 Mutant Stalkers. 6. Transmat an authentic scav-scrimshawed maw-tusk (+15L). 7. Scan hex 00.01 for buried facilities. 8. Transmat Alpha Core to Pertinax. 9. Perform a focused scan of Capricorn by delivering a sensor into the cryovolcano nearest its last emergence site. 10. Disable/Detach a Capricorn weapon mount and transmat it to Pertinax. 11. Place a rare or signature tier weapon into the QED 12. Place a weapon and an unstable isotope into the QED 13. After a eye strain inducing moment she grunts and turns back to the panel she had been prying open on the wrecked rig before all this. "Yea sov, you do you." A bolt pings loose and then another. Success! Salvage: 7d6 24 She gathers up an armful of valuable components. She pauses again and turns back to Grumps. "Feels akilter monopolizing a haul like this. Here catch." That arm was considerably more toasty than he preferred, and his implants were giving him virus warnings. But wait, it seemed like the virus could be corralled, contained, and... rebroadcast. He grinned behind his mask: This was why experimentals were fun. He looked up at the Subverted Gunman: It and the other crawler had made short work of the one that hadn't succumbed. Given the injury from the exploding device, it was a good thing they had: If it had drawn a bead on him, he'd be extra crispy. So, he clambered aboard the pristine, undamaged rig, evicted the pilot, and looked north to see if there was something to wrestle. He sent word to the Crawler to hold station for now.
