Yeah. If I had one here I'd go test it with a multimeter to see what the resistance is, but every time they get into the house I eat them.

Adding to the shock therapy:
I had a 74 Ramcharger when I was young. Messing with the timing. It was lifted so that you had to work from a step ladder. Not exactly sure what the path was but I had one hand on the distributor and a Metal Sears timing light in the other hand. Took a hit from the distributor and found myself flat on my back in the driveway.

Took an ROP tune Up course in High School. Night classes behind the carwash in a local auto mall. Again a metal sears timing light. This one had no rubber boot on the little alligator clip that you attach to the battery voltage terminal on the ignition coil. Datsun 210, messing with the bare alligator clip on the coil gave me a hell of a pulsing shock to where my hair was sticking up after the jolt.

That seems incredibly slow for 700hp.

Edit: yeah that would be a mechanical failure of its own if true. Guys with a hair under 500 at the wheels are going 11.3x

He's having a lot of problems hooking off the line and he thinks his transmission is slipping. Last run I saw was 11.1 from him. He did the Texas mile and got it to 191. I guess the street tire only rule for that was getting him. But I agree, for how much he's done to this car, you'd think with drag slicks and skinnies it'd break into the 10's. I saw a recent run he did and he's coming off idle at the tree. I asked him why he doesn't have a trans brake or something. He's under the impression that with a supercharger, it's better to be off idle? I think there's a lack of knowledge of what the hell he's even doing at this point.

Yeah, he should be launching off the TC no matter what to get a decent time. Left foot brake, gas till it's just about to start rolling tires (stock TC?), launch should be a roll in if traction is bad or mat it if he can hook.

Then you start finding driveline weak points :v: Only time I've ever launched off idle is if I knew I was gonna blow a part up or I was testing something else.

Edit: for comparison, my old TA was also supercharged, 585 on pump gas, and 6 speed. That was a 10.8 car when I could hook. My friends car, same mods and year, but auto with a 3800 stall was running 10.1.

The best part about that video is that Guinness' rules did allow them pauses to refuel, but that wasn't German enough for BMW.

It's your own bloody fault.
Visited the local supermarket to try and find some bargain eater eggs (failed)

Saw a 5 Series jacked up just like this in the car park

Except with no jack stand
On the apex of the entrance where it was likely to get clipped
With a pair of legs sticking out from under the sill

And the bonus was his girlfriend sitting on the passenger seat, playing with her phone, while he worked underneath her.
I did a genuine double-take.

What the gently caress was that from? Something fairly large from those tires

Also, was that a hot glue gun used in fixing a car? Cause that would be a first for me. Other than maybe someone bedazzling their dashboard.

I'm gonna guess due to the broken spark plug that it's a Ford 4.6, 5.4, or 6.8L 3 valve.

Close, a 7.5L 2 valve that spent it's first 15+ years in the salty winters of western North Carolina.

And apparently never had the plugs changed, ever, either.
This is why I use anti seize, always, especially in aluminum, and I'm not even in the rust belt. I don't give a drat what the pundits say - they don't have to extract that fucker.

I'd see if you can get a nut welded to the remains of the ez-out.
