I did have fun with jason rohrer's Sleep is Death, not really a game though, just like a weird interactive storytelling application where essentially one person is the DM that builds an adventure game in real time as the other person interacts with it

Fez is hugely overrated, it's an ok platformer but it's chock full of "indie deep" bullshit. I've never played a Jon Blow game. He seems ignorant.

if you decipher the mysterious god-cube's dialogue in the beginning of the game it's just "lol your head's weird, here's a hat" fez was a lot of things but pretentious wasn't one of them

I just beat Minit and it's super charming and original and I'm gonna go back and find all the stuff. It's only like two hours the first time through but there's a lot more to do after that and it's an extremely good two hours.

My favorite part of Minit is when I had no idea what to do next and was just trying random stuff knowing it wouldn't work. I've done that kind of thing in zelda games before but it takes on an entirely different feel when you have a timer telling you exactly how much you're wasting your time lol

I still have my notebook from when I played that game and it looks like a crazy person wrote it Yeah but it's still a mediocre platformer to play and I don't give a crap about any of that so I hated fez.

Like, it's just a bunch of QR codes and cryptic bullshit, and the world and characters weren't interesting enough to make me care.

I also have a notebook for keeping track of FFXIV currencies but that's just because writing stuff down on a piece of paper is easier than navigating the game's UI
