all this will do is get legislation passed allowing instant access to cell phones in spite of normal evidence custody rules and due process because terrorism has there ever been an actual ticking bomb scenario in all of recorded history, like there's something gonna blow up and there's actually a chance for the authorities to do anything about it? maybe during the troubles in the uk/ireland? my understanding is most bombs aren't left in place very long

The USB disable feature should let the user decide how long, with a few options. I agree that 1 week is too long.

Plug phone into computer, wipe phone and put it into Managed mode, give it a profile that disables usb syncing with computers other than this one and set the profile so it can't be removed. Dump the key from your computer if you're paranoid. And unlike the previous example, there actually was literally not enough time for the pizza delivery guy to ever accomplish all of his tasks before the explosion killed him. He was as good as dead as soon as they slapped the explosives on his neck. I thought I read later on that him being a collaborator was bullshit and just an excuse to give the kidnappers a lighter sentence? If he was collaborating why would they use a real bomb? Edit: the Wikipedia article said they forced the bomb on him. Also it's kinda weird that he decided to rob a bank minutes after meeting random people that ordered a pizza to an odd location. Also the woman that claimed this was a paranoid schizophrenic who killed three of her ex-husbands. And later on the stand she changed her story where she said the first and only time she met him was the day they ordered pizza from him. I just read an updated article on the guy and the only time he ever called in sick to work in his 10 years delivering pizza was when his cat died Chumbawumba4ever97 fucked around with this message at 11:19 on May 10, 2018 |

I can't believe the delivery guys got almost half the sentence the actual bomber did. The story even acknowledged that they were former employees hired to make a delivery and they had no idea it was a bomb. Which I believe. Why would the bomber tell more people than he had to? Also the craziest poo poo is that it was going to go off in eight days at the most. There was apparently literally no way to dismantle the bomb without causing an explosion unless you knew the code.
