she has shown a slight interest in this pack of greenies I'm trying. It seems about 25% of the time one is offered she'll eat it while Butters is running an 80% rate.
Nermal sounds similar to Milly regarding treats. Shes never been into any treats and would only occasionally bother eating one. On a whim I picked up some cheap-o grocery store dental treats (link) to help keep their teeth clean and for some reason she loves them. I've only ever seen them at Kroger/Fred Meyer/QFC and they're usually like $1.50 per 2oz bag. Amazon's price is insane.

Butters will chase a wand toy for a solid 20-30 minutes before starting to slow down, it's pretty great. Afterwards she's up for 10 minutes of squirmy petting, then sharpens her claws and sleeps all night.

The last two days I've found suspiciously green-tinged watery barfs so mo more greenies for Milly ever again since is the 2nd time it's happened with about a year in between trying them. I'll give the cheapo supermarket candy treats a go.

Moo Moo wants to grow up to be an engineer

Moo Moo doing some more engineering (specifically causing a laptop to make the sound boopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboopboop)

Moo Moo, no joke, performs a sorting algorithm all night while we sleep. One by one she drags all the stuffed animals off of our fireplace mantle and progressively closer to our bed, in order of her favorites.

When we wake up they're all in a line of stuffed animals marching towards our bed.

Notice a couple that didn't make it far right below the fireplace. Recently her sorting seems to especially favor a new fluffy keychain (with keys that loudly jangle while she brings them). There's a fluffy blue dinosaur that she'll sometimes hide in things, like boxes or inside bedroom dressers behind the drawers.

At night she'll howl and trill the whole time she's setting this for us. I think we're the ones who are supposed to hunt them and she's setting up a training course for us that gets progressively more difficult because we're her kittens.

Moo Moo is a really good cat, make sure to vote for her here!

Up ta somethin'

so here's where we stand with the calendar with almost all the art done: 41 people in the commission payment pool, 37 printed calendars. I will post a full list in the next post and start firing off PMs and emails with payment info later this weekend.

The art was $300 (plus some for the cover which someone has generously offered to pay) and best I can figure the calendars will be either:

For booklet style stapled: $29.20 plus any venmo/paypal fees
$16.55 print
$0.75 graphic designer time for layout
$4.50 packing and shipping USPS
$7.32 commission share

For spiral bound: $31.18 + fees
$18.61 print
$0.75 graphic designer
$4.50 packing and shipping
$7.32 commission share

for those just getting the digital images: $7.32 + fees

I'm inclined to go with the stapled version because I like the look more, but want everyone's opinion in case people hate that they don't sit quite flat on the wall.

for those that want to buy their original it will be an additional $20 + $7.25 priority mail shipping from the artist. I might be able to cut the shipping down by bundling the original with the calendar but need to ask the artist first in case that might damage the original.

some comments:

if people are willing to accept $7.25 instead of $4.50 for the shipping it would make my life easier and get the calendars delivered faster as I could just pick up a stack of priority mail envelopes instead of bothering with first class mail. it would also mean if you were getting two calendars you'd only need to pay one shipping fee.

further if people are willing to just call it :10bux: for the digital only and $35 for the shipped calendar that would really make my life easier as I could stop all this exact penny poo poo and not worry about the payment fees. I'm not doing this to make any money so any extra after all is said and done would go to the artist as a gratuity (because imo we got more than $300 worth of art) and/or a local unadoptable cat sanctuary.
