I grabbed the standard edition for like $10 with a mate and had a blast. That's pretty much all I'm hoping for out of Anthem. The only company I'd trust to do a FPS MMO that would be any fun in the long run would be Blizzard. If you're going to be stuck with lootboxes, which you will be in Anthem, I'd rather have Blizzards method of handing them out for cosmetic poo poo as opposed to say... Battlefront 2 needing lootboxes to actually progress your character.

Honestly, the game looks kind of cool, but given everything surrounding it I can't be bothered to muster any interest in it. Even if Anthem is some of the most fun you can have in a game, I feel like Bioware's over-drafted good will, EA's greedy claws, the fact that Destiny already exists, and the over-saturation of other massively multiplayer titles will lead to one extremely flaccid reception and the death of a company.

I love The Division being set in a snowy abandoned New York and I can't imagine how Ubisoft can match the setting in a sequel. I still think Watch_Dogs would have been way better if it had been set in an permanent rainy night like Arkham Knight.

Or because Origin was a bloated, unpleasant piece of trash made even worse by horseshit like Battlelog layered on top. I reinstalled it a while back when I was deluding myself that they may not gently caress up Battlefront 2, and it seemed less awful though, so I guess that's something.

I used to vastly prefer Steam, but the sales being less than mediocre now and Valve's obvious lack of care about the games and their quality on steam has led to me not giving a poo poo which client it is. After all, you only install the game once, then you just click the icon of the game on your desktop and the other poo poo runs in the background. And for communictation you either use ingame VOIP or discord, so who really cares wheter the game is on origin, uplay or steam, as long as it is not the windows store.

The PSVR game is "Ghost Giant" made by Zoink! (Fe, Flipping Death, Stick it to the Man).
