This is him not responding to being called "Lucky". He was also loving huge, like most of the feral cats where I grew up (near the docks, so they'd grown up preying on equally outsize dock rats). Not quite Maine Coon-sized, but certainly a good 30% bigger than an average house cat - comfortably larger than the Jack Russell we also had.  This is him doing the "I can definitely fit in this far too small box" thing three decades before Maru found global megastardom, and gives you a bit of an idea of scale. Bonus 70s Axminster carpet too!
