I did the 5 mil from 39 > 40 in under two months too. Pretty pumped.Now what. Besides relicanth, my Dex is full. Guess I'll keep working on my gender dex. Note that they have to be your buddy at the time you evolve them. You can walk 10km with an Eevee, switch your buddy out, then switch them back later when you are ready to evolve.

Does walking 10k with Eevee give you anything special? Is there some sort of bonus for walking with it instead of just renaming the thing Sakura to get Espeon or Tamoa for Umbreon?

So I used the name trick for Umbreon. Can I still use it for an Espeon if I get shinies on community day? I haven't played this game in 2 years. Are community days a good time to find shinies? All I have is a shiny Mawile from a raid.

You can usually find out the level by clicking that 3 coloured circle icon in the bottom left corner of the scan screen and then holding the pokeball to let the circle appear. Calcy IV will scan the circle and then highlight one of the potential levels and corresponding iv ranges from the list.

I finally had a good chance to accumulate a bunch of gifts and send them out to people, I've been slacking as of late thanks to my inventory always being full. I'm ultra friends with a couple of you now just on sending and receiving gifts and am just about at level 39 thanks to it. Friends stuff owns.

Gift giving is probably my favorite thing now. My girlfriend and I try to top who can send better gifts to each other based on wordplay. My opinion of someone goes slightly down when they send me a Starbucks/Sprint gift, especially now since you can toss specific gifts.

I've sludged hundreds of trash Mons this week and no Ditto. I'm assuming the Zigazoon and Rattata that fled Great Balls today were both Dittos and now I want to die

Higher CP, but I was using berries and Great Balls. Still jumping out and fleeing.

Man landing 3 excellent throws in a row is hard I can get up to 2 in a row, but I refuse to ditch the challenge out of pride. I can do this. The tricky part is if you find a pokemon you're able to get a good chance of an excellent on, all your excellent throws are going to result in you catching the drat thing, then you have to attempt on whatever other mon is nearby. You have to hope the thing breaks out of your excellent throws, and doesn't run away in the process. My Raikou is due tomorrow, so hopefully I can drug that thing up with bananas and throw a ton of red balls at it. But I'm already running low on red balls from all my other previous attempts on wild pokemon lol. It's also the first time I'm needing to hoard nanabs instead of firing them off at the next gym I come across.

Some obliging graffiti artist painted a manhole cover to look like a Pokeball a few years ago, so of course now it's a gym named 'Catch 'Em All!'. I try to vary who gets the gifts from that one, because it's my favorite gift spot. Well, that and 'Brain!'.
