Lots of people have two accounts and you've probably seen someone's alt in a gym plenty of times and not even known it. It's the dickhead behind the accounts that seems to be the problem.

Niantic doesn't seem to care even a tiny bit about multi accounting so your only course of action is to do what the thread suggests; pound him relentlessly and suck his berries dry. Oh and attack his Pokemon too I guess.

Another option is to headshot the top Pokemon by, like Wheany said, winning the first battle and immediately leaving/restarting. You can usually kick out the top Pokemon fairly easily and keep going one by one from there. At some point you'll kick the remote berryer out and then life becomes much easier. It's definitely possible for them to berry through it but requires more attention on their part.

Did the error for doing this finally get fixed? Used to be a permanent error if you knocked out just the first mon doing this and you couldn't take any more out until 10 minutes passed at which point someone else could place theirs

The most important thing is to have your top dps machamps ready to go immediately after the second time you beat the blissey so they have the least time to react to the notification. You can take your time with the first and second wins, unless they are actively looking at the gym. Or fake them out: Beat the blissey once, then wait a few minutes. Maybe they waste the golden razz on a mostly-intact blissey.

We have a gym at work that I can hit from my desk, along with 2 stops.

I got in the office pretty early the other day, and someone was trying to take it down. Once he got 2 laps on each of the pokes, I'd golden razz them all. I figured he'd stop after I razzed them, but no. He spent 2 hours trying to take this gym, and when he'd get close, I'd golden razz them all every single time. I can't even imagine trying to take over a gym for more than 10 minutes, let alone 2 goddamn hours. I didn't even have anyone in the gym, I just wanted to piss the guy off. He eventually gave up.

This reason alone is why I stockpile as many goldens as I can get.

Once you knock out a defender, just fight the next one. That should prevent the error.

I haven't seen that error in months but when it was prevalent that didn't help at all, you'd be able to fight the rest of the gym once but after that you would still be locked out.

Celebi quest data point: got to step four (walk 10km with Eevee) with an Eevee at 9.9km. Walked a bit further and got a candy. Quest registered (1/2) complete. So I'm guessing it's tracking it by buddy candy, not distance.

Forbes article I read claimed, without evidence, that it might get hosed up if the first catch of the day is within a certain time window. Like, if pogo server uses your local time and says it's Monday, first catch, but quest uses another time zone and says it's still Sunday, something gets hosed. To the people with the bug: what time zone are you in and what time did you do your first catch?

All porygon lol I went from having 1 (which took a long time to turn into Porygon2) to having way too loving many, with enough candy to evolve another.

I'm holding off on evolving though because I can just sense that I'm gonna need 100 candies to evolve Porygon Z if/when it ever comes out.
