I wonder how big the core city will be - there's a section in the trailer where they stop the car and do a panorama - I wonder if the areas across the water are part of the explorable city, or if it's just a pretty skybox.

From the maps in the book Night City isn't actually that big, physically, so they should be able to do it in its entirety. How much actually has explorable interiors, who knows.

According to this interview given by Richard Borzymowski around the time of the second press demo the world contains no invisible walls and the city is fully open to exploration, plus some areas beyond the city limits. Doesn't sound like there is much beyond 'the last building' but the world won't just end.

No indication of many other buildings within the city you can explore in their entirety like the one you live in during the demo. Not sure what to expect there.

It would be nice if the script was written by somebody who’s not a 13-year-old who just figured out for the first time that he can cuss without his mom hearing.

And it’s especially jarring when said by the main character who is obviously a professional voice actress trained to talk like a news anchor and over-pronounce literally every syllable. “Cleaner than a cunTTT in a convenTTT.” Normal humans don’t try as hard as possible to stress every letter like that.

Cause stocks in entertainment companies are super fickle and a huge, uncalculable risk, especially if the success of a company rests on a single franchise.

I made some profit with Blizzard stock 2 years ago, although I sold too early.

I really don't think they're going to do that or let you play corporate. They'd have to make multiple games.

I'm sure you can play hacking focused but you'll still have to go out in the world and do it on site.

If someone bought CD Project Red stock in January of 2017, they would have quadrupled their money now. Considering how good this gameplay looks, I might have to get some. I liked the ambiance a lot. The hacking mechanism looks awesome. The city crowds were also impressive. My only complaints are the dialog / cursing seemed a bit forced and wooden and little stupid quibbles like seeing muzzle flash through the pistol's breech as it was ejecting a round. Nothing that would stop me from buying this game in it's current state.

I also chalked it up to work in progress, but I hope the armor / clothes / gear is fully customizeable. I really like Kingdom Come's system where the character can layer their armor / clothing.

I can understand that in a cyberpunk game generally but this is a Cyberpunk 2020 game and it is an intentionally super cliche and hammy setting compiling greatest hits of all the 80s material. If anything they're going to step it down for the game since nobody's familiar with the source material and a lot of it is absurd.

My understanding is that your only "class" is basically a solo from P&P, but then you mutate and build from there into a reflection of whatever you like. You probably won't be able to be a corp or a rockerboy, but you'll be a good approximation of one within the game's framework. Same for a netrunner. I'm sure you'll have to leave your mom's basement, but you won't have to do a shitload of killing people with a handgun.

Yeah I'd say so, but it would be based on your tech level probably. Nothing to stop draw gun becoming short range cybernetics jamming. CDPR seem pretty on top of the interaction aspects, I bet there's going to be some great stuff in there for resolving NPC interactions.

E: also I'm sure they won't replace draw gun. It's your decision if you want to get your head blown off like a gonk.
