for sure. i never thought he was bad i just got tired of all his bitching and calling everyone racist. hes getting even better, i dont think he will make it 5 years tho lol. theres plenty of guys that can give him a real good run. i think rory is still a really bad match up for him

till is huge but he plods and keeps his head way up with his hands down like conor. thats real dangerous the higher up in weight you go, especially against someone that hits like woodley. till has a great chin tho he was showing no damage from those gigantic shots

If you like underdogs, bet on Conor by KO and get even better odds.

I don't see Conor getting a sniper "he dead" one-shot KO on such a big lightweight as Khabib. Khabib has shown the ability to wade through shots from lightweight power punchers long enough to get the clinch and start destroying people. Conor has shown that he doesn't have a great gas tank.

Unless Conor puts Khabib away cold, it's going to be a very bad night for Conor.

I helped Lowtax become a cyborg and all I got was this lousy avatar
I remember Michael Johnson hit Khabib hard enough in R1 to make him a bit stanky legged. Conor needs to resist sitting down on his punches too much and maintaining enough movement so Khabib has to work to get him down.

I think Conor will come in well prepped for Khabib, but if(when) Khabib gets him to the ground, I doubt Conor will have the tools to get up. He may be able to stall Khabib and limit damage, at least for the first few rounds. I think both fighters have clear paths for winning, it's just going to be a matter of who can execute better.

My guess is that Conor will try too hard for the knockout and Khabib will grab him, grind him down, and eventually smash him or submit him.

when they announced conor/khabib my cousin asked me who i had and i said it'll end up being tony vs. pettis main event on the night and then a couple weeks later they booked that fight.
hoping at least 1 of the current main eventers stays in to fight tony..

There's better odds of McGregor/Pettis based off the history of Khabib/Ferguson

I really couldn't complain about any main event that could possibly happen on that card between those four.

This is a really good one from BJJ Scout on how Conor's style has evolved over the years to the point where he ended up being an absolutely nightmarish match up for Eddie Alvarez.

Whether this all works on Khabib, or if he will even fight like this against Khabib or try something different is the interesting part of the match up for me.

At this point it's a coin flip in my mind as to who wins.

Conor needs to not get taken down in the first 3 rounds or knock Khabib out in the first 3 rounds to win imo

If Khabib gets Conor down he can probably hold him there the rest of the round and really tire Conor out so he can't be as effective the remaining rounds

of course its possible the power puncher wont land their shot and get wrestled. weve seen it a lot. but thinking about this fight the biggest ? is conor, cuz hes acting crazy and he did get goaded into fighting down to nate diazs level that time,. If you could guarantee Conor would fight smart, thatd be nice.

I basically agree with this 100% except I think theres a real chance khabibs not going to be able to close the distance given conors insane left
