If they award something for cancellation, it should be logged somewhere... So they should be able to award new ex passes... Assuming that they were smart enough to log events happening

What I don't understand is why it took this long for them to get this far with EX raids and still not fix the goddamn issue that players have been noticing for months. This seems like something any decent programmer could resolve with a little free time. Now that the system has been made more transparent, tons of people are posting screenshots of their cancelled passes on that tweet. I can't wait to see how Niantic responds to all this.

It sucks, but with pass sharing it's not nearly as big a deal, imo. I won't be in town for my ex anyway, but I'll share passes with people who raid more than I do, so they'll share with me when I'm actually free.

Now I know The ones we encounter now are actually Dittos pretending to be Melman, who in Go is mostly based off Kecleon data, including typing and Pokedex data, so you never actually see any real Melman data and he remains mysterious and exclusive until Let's Go gets released. He'll probably be more memorable than Marshadow, at least. Also, because you never actually catch him, Melman locations get pushed to the top of your radar. This means you can hunt them down and take as many photos of him as you could want. One day I will have a photo of every single Pokemon sitting in my rubbish bin.
