I heard it on a different forum, but whattup Anti-Tank buddy. :hf:
Apart from that, while I do personally prefer the latter stuff mostly, I gotta say World Eater is a loving standout track.

I’m really into both tracks. Can’t wait to hear more! These guys are doing the DT style prog metal in the best way. Traces of the old prog bands but they never sound dull and derivative.

The riffs are real heavy. Too many prog bands forget how that works.

Those Once Loyal.

The IVth Crusade, Mercenary, Those Once Loyal, and War Master are my top 4, but there are only 8 in total and they're all loving great, so how about a handful of songs to get you started:

Cenotaph
When Cannons Fade
Behind Enemy Lines
The Killchain
The Shreds of Sanity
As the World Burns
Anti-Tank (Dead Armour)
Lost Souls Domain

It's hard to say any one song or album from Bolt Thrower is the best, because this is a band that was consistent and uncompromisingly heavy, fast, and brutal for their entire run. Basically the platonic ideal of death metal.

What's that I hear? Please sperg out a list? Don't mind if I do

1. Realm of Chaos
2. The IVth Crusade
3. War Master
4. For Victory
5. Those Once Loyal
6. In Battle There Is No Law! [the exclamation mark is really important]
7. Honour Valour Pride
8. Mercenary

For the record, Mercenary is a 6 or 7 out of 10 album. To me there's not a lot of daylight between spots 2 through 7.

From what I have already heard, this seems to be the best way to go about it!

Can't believe they are from the UK and I have never really heard of them / listened to them.

Early stuff sounds a bit Napalm Death (whom I love too!)

No problem, I like making lists way more than anyone likes reading them. To add some more context: Realm of Chaos is where they perfected their early, grindcorey sound, IVth Crusade is where they figured out slow death metal, War Master is the midway point between those two. Anything after IVth Crusade is kinda the same album, but it's a really good album. In Battle There Is No Law! kinda patterns with most early British grind in the sense that the band had more enthusiasm than skill at that point.

I'm not even sure what he has been doing, because he's only in one other band (which must be a personal low for him) and that other band only has one EP in 2013.

But yeah, Cazz and Chorazaim together would mean album 25 years in the making.
