I think the problem with all the AI "assistants" is that they're developed primarily to wring a few more cents out of you and every design decision is made to line up with that goal, which is why 5+ years later they're still all pretty dumb

i mean, it depends what you mean by "use apps" i guess. developers can add siri shortcuts to their apps so you can send money or check the weather or see when your bus is coming or w/e. you can't like play minecraft via voice
