I think FOX has already made it clear they want Rousey, but I dunno, they might just shift her for no good reason in October. Or she may become a Free Agent like Cena.

Sorry to interrupt yet again but after watching several years of Royal Rumbles, I have one question and one comment. 1. Why was New Day being boo'ed a few years ago but now everybody loves them>? 2. Poor Heath Slater. I saw the Three Man Band in one of the older rumbles and now I see Drew getting to be all intimidating and stuff and Jinder was a world champion. But I guess Heath is just stuck forever in his joke gimmick. I did thinkt it was a funny gag about him constantly getting knocked over trying to get into the rumble, though.

There is also the issue of WWE likely not wanting Ronda to lose right now either. They could easily move Ronda over if she loses at Wrestlemania, during the Superstar Shakeup.

They were able to get control of their gimmick and turn things around. Drew was out of the company for a few years and made himself a commodity, Jinder was re-signed to be an enhancement guy and happened to be Indian when they wanted to try to expand in the Indian market. He's basically back to an enhancement guy now. Heath is a good enhancement guy who can be funny, but has never really proven himself to be more. He's fine in his role and getting little pushes every couple years.

Can they just merge the women's divisions on both shows, and do a world/secondary/tag titles? There are like 3 credible people that can hold the women's belt on SD, and there is no way to push people like Payton Royce and make them a credible threat to the title. Like when they started to build up Becky again after MITB, they literally had her run through the entire heel roster. You could achieve a similar thing by having a secondary title to defend on big shows that you hype and build up to, and not necessarily have to run down the entire roster in a month to give someone credibility. But whatever... I only watch the big shows anyway

So I don't really understand all the love for Asuka, she seems good in the ring but I haven't heard a decent promo from her the whole time she has been on the main roster. I get there is a language issue there, but it doesn't change the fact that if Asuka holds the title we get Asuka promos every week, do people actually want that? If she had a manager or something to talk for her I could get excited by her with the title but I just can't imagine it being a very fun title reign otherwise.

If anything Asuka just coming out and murdering fools week after week would be a welcome change.

And to be honest, I would rather listen to someone who isn't fluent in English attempt to cut a decent promo over someone like Nia Jax who is fluent in English, but complete and utter dogshit at the whole promo stuff. Nakamura has outright said he doesn't understand her in Japanese some of the time, due to her dialect (Osakan). I remember it being brought up on an episode of UUDD. I think the best comparison to make is that her Osakan accent is basically the Japanese version of a deep south accent. It's incredibly strong.
