It's a popular second character once you can dump money into it so you can keep 2-4 stacks up for clearing with good gear and then then 10 stack and rape bosses. gross

You don't really need much in terms of gems outside your main skill before Act 6 anyway.

I'm always wary of summon builds that don't have spectres just because of clear speed. Zombies are great tanks and skeles do good single-target/small area damage but solar guards are really hard to beat for trash clearing. And it also looks like they don't want to run AG for more buffs because of the 'no-uniques' philosophy. For that build it looks more set on surviving instead of absolute speed and pretty much tailor-made for SSF if you're doing that again.

oh yeah I've been SSF since harbinger? The one after breach and I'm keeping at that, I'm pretty much just trying to find more builds so I don't just end up farming an oni at the start of the league again because that sucks

Looking at delve Poe ninja, self cast arc was relatively common. The only change as mentioned was Inpulsa went from 10% explosions to 5%.

Inpulsas and Loreweave are still both insanely good and I expect them to make up an even bigger percentage of use this league.

Pretty much settled for a artic breath occultist as my starter this round. Gonna go life, transition to heavy energy once I get vile bastion, and depending on gear might go CI while I get everything ready for low life.

If you rng into proper AG gear and spectre stuff then swapping those in eventually would be my only change.

Does going Tabula->5l abyss chest-> loreweave (once I get a 6l shaper CoC bow) seem like a good idea or is the tabula->abyss chest jump too steep for a league starter?

Depending on how they tuned bestiary a rare 6l might not be a bad step up from tabula. Shroud will probably be expensive for a while.

Shroud was incredibly cheap (relative to its rarity and previous cost) last league, so it probably wont be too bad.

Alright I think I've finally narrowed it down to Occultist BV or Phantasm Necro. Leaning Occultist BV cause you can still get lots of pack-clearing explosions without Inpulsa's and all the newly buffed chaos damage nodes.
