Tons of people will die if the delivery of medical supplies is cut off, but the deaths won't be counted very well because most of the time you can't prove that someone was going to survive if they had certain medications. It's what happened in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, where the official death toll is something like 19 people even though it is estimated that thousands died of medical complications resulting from the storm
