I will be disappointed if Edelgard is revealed as a new Smasher not because she is a Fire Emblem but because she and Joker will make two characters from games that I haven't/won't play. But they both have good designs and will be fun in Smash so I won't like lament it or anything. I never played Xenoblade and Shulk rules. That said, if we see some Joker footage I hope it will come packaged with a Persona 5 for Switch announcement.
