I saw Pacific Rim five times in theater - normal, 3D, IMAX 3D then twice again because I thought I was never gonna get another opportunity to get this amped up over a kaiju movie again in my life. I'm happy to tell you guys that I'm more amped for Godzilla than any other movie in recent memory. This is gonna be a long two months

Aladdin week 2 vs. G:KotM week 1 : who will win? "Who cares" is a fair answer, since Kong v G is already being filmed so it's too late for box office to matter. Would be amazeballs to have the franchise go beyond the fourth entry (I assume KvG will be a shoe-in hit?) because then we get MechaG, maybe. I forget how long the Toho license lasts.

Welp, my concerns about atmospheric effects ruining the wide shots are gone. This is astonishingly beautiful and borderline unbelievable. I thought G'14 was super impressive, but this looks to be much more so.
