If she hears a string cheese being opened she will start doing figure eights around your feet until you give her some. She won't eat it though, she will look at it and walk away. But if you don't give her a piece of cheese, she will meow at you until you do. On the other hand, when my wife eats cottage cheese for breakfast, the cat will get a little spoon full and will devour it like it like she hasn't eaten in a week.
