Imagine how effective this crap would be if the night king would just use undead Viserion to StuKa the poo poo out of Winterfell, burn the Dothraki and Unsullied real quick and gently caress off before Danaerys and Jon can stop loving for a second to mount Drogon and Rhaegal. Also, if he additionally carries one or two of those magical ice spears with him, those two dragons wouldn't even be an issue.

Theon’s whole story in this show is just people telling him to go somewhere else, but they always attach a mission so he doesn’t figure it out. Next episode Jon will send him back to the Iron Islands to deliver an important chair or pair of shoes or something.

I think the Night King’s “message” was less of a message and more of a mark/flag. “I was here. The dead own this now. Please turn off the candles and close the doors if you’re the last one to leave”

Holding out hope for some A+ Dragon action before the finish. My first stupid thought about this was that Bran would warg the dragon into wearing pants. The important question, of course, is would a dragon wear pants like this or like this.

I'm trying to think of the times where Theon's story hasn't been stupid since the show started diverging more from the book's storyline for him in Season 3. Was it A) That time where a bunch of ladies get naked and started having sex with him but oh no now Ramsey's coming for your balls B) That time where Yara tried to rescue Theon but was dissuaded by dogs and Ramsey's nipples. C) That time where Theon escaped with Sansa and they jumped off a tall-rear end castle into the river below and were fine D) The moment where Theon realized he was immune to all balls-based attacks and this gave him his redemption.

For years everyone’s been all “Bran is going to defeat the walkers by warging into a dragon” but id much rather see Arya infiltrate the night kings ranks by wearing the face of the dead dragon.

I think the very first part in the books they're doing that. No idea why Theon would think the Starks would want anything to do with him. But I guess if they're gonna know to retreat to the Iron Islands he's gotta be there. And while I did like the episode the dialogue is absolutely *terrible*. I also cringed when I saw "Dave Hill" so I guess I just don't expect anything better.

I thought it was an overall decent episode, especially by recent standards. My main issue is around how unrealistically underused scouting/spies/little birds has been. The first few seasons were pretty much built on the vast amount of political intrigue and military strategy that came from all the intel that characters like Varys, Little Fingers, Tywin, even sometimes Robb Stark had received. Now? Varys seems to have no more knowledge based. No one has knowledge of the White Walkers whereabouts apparently, no way to verify jackshit about the Lannister forces. Also, Bran, the ideal guy who can provide info on all the current ongoings around the world, well, I suspect he's been secretly spending a lot of his vision powers to stare at Jaime's antics to finally time a perfect troll job at Winterfell. The fall from the tower only gave him a taste of that Lannister twincest, and he's probably seen a lot more since. Anyone annoyed that Cersei gave Euron poo poo before boning him, what did you really expect? It was pretty in character and plus it would've come off pretty weird if after being asked for a "private" conversation she simply said "yes" followed by that post-coitus scene. It also finally hit me that Euron is a spitting image of Josh Jackson from Dawson's Creek.

I just had to check a wiki to make sure I didn’t imagine the scene from last season where Arya tries to convince her former pet wolf to come back to Winterfell. It’s such a crazy thing to summarize in words as the payoff to a plot thread from the third episode.
