Last year, I stayed at a Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Dayton, Ohio. There were ZERO other people staying at the hotel during my three-day stay and here's what happened: - The person at the desk greeted me by my first name before I even said hello (because I was the ONLY RESERVATION) - They had me spin a big wheel to win a free prize; I won a free item from the gift shop - They asked me if I was going to come to breakfast in the morning; if not, they wouldn't make it and would instead give me a $10 voucher for the Hooters down the road - There were two really, really bad drawings of Andy Dalton taped to a giant "we sponsor the NFL!!!" sign in the lobby - When I got to my room, there was a water bottle with my name printed on the label - When I left each morning, the person at the desk asked what I was going to do that day That is my Courtyard by Marriott, Official Hotel of the NFL, story.
