Matt seems to be in an ongoing argument over whether it's good to let managers have input in how absenteeism is dealt with or if it's better to have an algorithm that I assume in this scenario would have its standards decided through collective bargaining. It's a bit hard to figure out the details because he seems to have an auto delete going on, but that's my understanding.

His point, from what I could see, is that objective metrics for employment standards are better than subjective because subjective exercises of discretion is basically how racism continues to exist in the modern world. he's right on that, but he's talking about algorithms firing people or whatever, which is true to form for him of being correct but annoying
