Oh I just had no idea what you were on about. It sounds discussion worthy. Is it mekchus link above? I didn't see the fight so I can't say if the rules were incorrectly enforced as one claims but turning over a result is ... Well kinda bad, but u can think of a few judge's cards which needed review. Did this happen because of promotional fiat or regulatory oversight? (Probably fiat).

It really seemed to be just Chatri saying that the referee didn't control the action well enough, leading to infractions that weren't counted. Nothing to do with the judges at all, just the promoter deciding to overturn the decision. Giorgio Petrosyan lost to Petchmorrakot Petchyindee, and it was overturned to an NC. The dumbest thing is that they're running it back later this year - why not just say it was a close match, things weren't taken into account that should have been, we're running it back? I know kickboxing has much larger numbers in records than MMA but it still seems like loving with someone's record like that is a bit poo poo.

I'll also add that one of the fights had a full-on pile driver which resulted in a point deduction. Which caused the fight to be a majority draw. Also if Frederick wasn't juicing EPO like he's mega-dillashaw for that fight then i'll eat my proverbial hat. So I'm glad he threw his win away. I recommend the card to anyone with FightPass, all the fights.

Ross Houston vs Nicholas Dalby Cage Warriors 106. Go watch this fight. This is an MMA Unicorn. Goddard stops the fight at 2-3:06 because there was too much blood in the ring. The fighters were slipping like a baby deer on ice, but it's blood.

I understand the stoppage -- I mean, what were they gonna do, switch to a new cage? -- but man, I feel for Dalby. He was cut from UFC after having been led to believe he'd be fighting on their debut show in Denmark, and has since racked up a good streak of finishes. Gotta think he would've been a lock for UFC Copenhagen with a win here, and he was well on his way to several 10-8s plus what could've been a finish earlier in the fight when Goddard decided to have a doctor check them out. I hope they take Houston's suggestion to heart and have them rematch in UFC when they come to Denmark; Dalby's ceiling is lower than Mads Burnell's for sure, but unlike Burnell he's a great dude and representative for the sport.
