i was brushing leo on the balcony and closed the sliding glass door so hair wouldn't get inside. 3 military jets flew overhead so he scrambled to get back in and ran into the door  hopefully he didn't give himself a concussion

Martin is literally impossible to photograph. Not because he's a black cat, but because he won't. hold. still. for more than a nanosecond before twirling and curling around legs/furniture for pets, attention, and treats.  (He knocked over that plastic storage unit thing; we just decided to leave it down for safety's sake.) This morning I couldn't find him right away, so while I fed him, cleaned his box, and tidied the room I talked to him. And then I stood in the middle of the room, silent, listening. And all I could hear from one shadowy corner behind some soft storage boxes was PRRPRRPRRPRR. I followed the sound of purring until it got louder, and I saw two gold eyes peering out at me. He got many pets. There was even more purring. Graham is still somewhat baffled by the closed door, but he suspects something is up. So after his nightly treats he decided to be cute as hell.

same. sadie seems to have learned that the sound of a phone unlocking and taking a picture means I'm paying attention to her and it's time to run over and demand pets. so I keep it on silent much more than I did before and miss a lot of texts
