Some reviews are saying Sarge and his gang are responsible for the planet deaths, but that contradicts the show's logic. It is obviously the shrike. And the fact that they didn't say that explicitly was just to make the audience doubt what we thought we knew.

I thought he already explained that if they can't stop the Shrike getting a toe-hold then the only option is to burn that world down to stop that infestation and follow the Shrike to the next world to try again.

Who would have thought that the plucky dweebs would turn out to be such badasses and kinda cold and brutal jesus dude that's messed up I think this guy is legit a psycho.

Like for Fitz there's the poo poo with Daisy, spacing people, the cheese wiring etc etc.

Simmons is kinda behind the curve, what other really cold poo poo has she done other than disintegrate Bakshi?

It's Phil of the future, resurrected via Tony snapping his fingers in 5 years' time, because it's all in the same universe as Infinity War, which definitely happened :)

Solid work for solid actors. I'm sure everyone will land on their feet post AoS but I doubt there's any future superstars in the cast. Which is a bummer.

Very few actors actually seem to have careers after successful tv runs anyway. For most it's a lucky hit on one show that gets a few seasons then it's back to random one-offs

Very true. We were talking about the bulk of the actors who've worked on Whedon shows and looking at the cast of Buffy, even SMG has struggle to have consistent work. On Angel only Boreanaz has managed to keep his career afloat. But on Firefly it's impressive that for such a lovely show that FIllion, Tudyk, Torres and Glau have all managed to find continued work in tv and film.

Eh I liked it a lot other than the ending, where it basically turns into a video game boss fight. Lots of fun (and mostly practical) special effects and some great scenery-chewing from the actors.

Chloe Bennet will likely have a solid career because she has the China connection. Just this week she was walking the red carpet for the premiere of Abominable and her face was on a billboard in Shanghai.

Going back to the recent episode, I love that AoS is willing to take a huge risk on a weird bottle episode that was built on five seasons of character development.
