Wasn't a huge fan of the first Glass Animals album (the singles got ruined for me from Sirius XM overuse) but How To Be A Human Being is an excellent album. Agnes is stellar.

new raconteurs is good but I feel like it would have been better as a vehicle for some of jack white's theatrical excess (like the second raconteurs album) mixed with his recent more mature song composition (like on the solo album). but its just a solid dang rock album, can't really complain about that.

It was okay, but yeah, I'd put it more on the level of Jack White's solo albums, which also aren't memorable to me at all. Except for Lazaretto. That one was pretty rad.

I haven’t liked any of Jack White’s solo stuff. His best solo record is still worse than the worst White Stripes record. I’ll check out the new Raconteurs though. Brendan Benson is super underrated. I love One Mississippi and Lapalco.

It's mostly speculation at this point but folks are saying that the new direction with a slower, muted drumbeat and St. Vincent influenced sound is probably what did it.
