But it's important to note that there is a difference in degrees here; I'm calling Hal to reach three, specifically.

Lumpen posted:But you could 50% rule them out, right? There were 4 Scum results, and a maximum of 2 caused by Residue, so the 4 people who got SCUM results are half-ruled-out of being the Residue Cop. Is that... right? Yep. I'm actually noting those type of things in my sheet as personal notes (chances for Residue, Random likelihood, etc.). It only comes into play in LYLO, but may help to make a decision? I don't know, that's when you start to move out of certainty and into gambling.

Everybody gathered around Mr. Humalong. It seemed obvious that he was the murderer. So they bludgeoned him to death with their truncheons, because the armorer was out to lunch and they couldn't requisition their handguns. After they finished and left Mr. Humalong as a thoroughly beaten corpse, they discovered something unnerving amidst his possessions. It wasn't a knife. It was a copy of the famous self-help book "Going With The Crowd: Why Believing Everything Everyone Else Does Can Be Profitable". Mr. Humalong, Bandwagon Cop, was beaten to death on Day 1! Thread won't close at night, feel free to twilight all you want. SEND IN YOUR NIGHT ACTIONS

Even if both Scum falsely claimed Town results from N0, the 9 Town results should have been 5 TOWN and 4 SCUM, which would make the Bandwagon return TOWN. So someone has to have lied, or the mod hosed up, or I am misunderstanding the Bandwagon Cop role.

This is now an unofficial VT unless/until the SANE/INSANE flip, and then we can use their results. But someone in town lied and hosed us over.

If anyone would lie as Town, it'd be Krell. I know I wouldn't, I fully believe Byers wouldn't do that as Town and then make a spreadsheet, Sal wouldn't do that as Town, AA wouldn't, Chaoslord wouldn't, Hal wouldn't. Krell would. Unfortunately that would also make him Town, and so an... unoptimal flip. But maybe worth lynching just so he can't intentionally gently caress up the chart every day.
