you get dice and you have abilities that you put those dice in to attack or do things. maybe they only take even numbered dice or dice under 3 or something like that. and you pick up different abilities through the run and choose which ones you want to use. so you can put together a few abilities that work well together

if you played chiv you'll be fine, if you didn't, you'll be fine. the game is specifically designed so that failure is usually very funny? like in other games it's like gently caress i got outsmarted, in this game it's like, gently caress the seige tower fell and crushed us both. oh welp. reload. the character creation system is ripe for jokes, i have a few joke loadouts that rarely get used, but if you wanted you could make like rush limbaugh with a moth as his symbol on his sheild

okay i wanted to say this for a while, but haven't had the right venue. i do not want women in mordhau as player model options. it is not cause womyn aren't historically accurate or strong i just want to play a fun game, and the sound of a womans death screams as i pummel her to death with rocks is not something i want. there immediately would be like, women beating servers where a bunch of bot women run around while you just kill them indiscriminately. every one is talking about racism and they are right htere, give us black skin or something, maybe asians for samurai, whatever, but keep the lady char models out, but like maybe allow modding so there can be like sheildmaiden servers or something i don't loving know i just know i don't want my fantasy escapism swordfight game to involve me killing women but that is just me.
