On the very last drive, I think it was a mistake to spike on 3rd down instead of running a quick play. Also could have challenged the PI on the last throw since game was over anyway, unless you need a TO to challenge.

Can't challenge under two minutes and also you do need a TO to challenge

Brissett had a great game, but so many missed opportunities existed in a game when Viantieri misses two XPs, from that missed field goal to not running it to... it's aggravating. That felt very winnable. If they had just gone with Henry at four minute mark, they would've won it.

It's been so long since we have had kicker woes that I honestly don't know if we find another solution immediately or if we let him work it out. Missing 5 kicks in two weeks is not a good Omen though.

New kicking coach probably. Colt start trading kickers for first round picks for the next two decades.

Reminder that the Jags have picked in the top ten 9 years over the last decade, six times in the top 5, and have passed on Mahomes, Watson and Lamar Jackson while doing jack poo poo to improve their o-line. That was a tough
beat today and ballsy for to go for 2 there at the end

Anyone care to breakdown the Titans/Colts or point me to a good article? I only got to watch probably 15 televised minutes (so like 3 snaps) of the first half.

Both defenses got a lot pressure on the passer, both offenses had spurts where they ran well, both kickers missed critical kicks, Jacoby is a slippery son of a bitch. The colts won because they had the 2 big plays in a very tight game. Also some Reid esque time management by vrabel at the end. Titans still suck on 3rd down.

So Jaguars only 1 game out of first place then. They really should have won that game today. Ramsey dropped an easy pick 6 and there were a ton of questionable penalties on Jax at critical moments.

Also, I hate to say it but, man, JJ Watt looks like he's done.

I've been impressed with Brissett. He's not Luck but he's making throws and the one pick was just some good defense. I do love Reich though. He's the anti-Pagano when it comes to ballsy plays. Yes, 4th and Inches on your own side of the field while only being up 2 is probably a bad idea but hell, why not? If you can't get two inches, you don't deserve to win.

Poor Vinny though. He's cooked. I mean, the wheels just fell off.

Apparently the Colts are trying to talk Vinatieri into not retiring.

Just let him go dudes...if he couldn't get right over an offseason, it's not happening during the season when everybody's talking about how he's potentially costing them games.

He's old, he'll get over it.

But non-joking, he's 1 for 5 on Extra Points and 1 for 3 on FG. There is no way any Free Agent is worse then that. The Colts are not blowing teams away, they need those points. I'd love a victory lap season out of Vinatieri, but it's time.

Next 2 Titans/Colts games this season are going to be great. They match up so well vs each other. The entire thing came down to 1 or 2 key plays.
