I think it has some kind of condition which, among other things, has stopped it growing feathers - it seems way too active and strong for a normal chick young enough to be that featherless. I google translated the twitter bio and while it came out pretty garbled, it seems to say the bird is at least 6 months old. Maybe the weight thing is because a fatter bird means a more insulated bird? Poor little baldy booge needs all the warmth he can get.

My irresponsible neighbour was too slow to fix her cat and when she took her to the vet, it was already too late On the plus side, who wants some newborn kittens?      2 whites and 1 black, all alive and healthy. I was pretty worried because she is very young, not even 1 year old. But all went well This sneaky fellow is the probable father, a unsociable stray who is always around
