Tell a Pirates or Orioles fan the Braves aren't relevant because despite making the playoffs a bunch of times they haven't been winning series

Another spring commute
Maddon with Ohtani could be fun, although considering the way DH forfeiture works in the AL I don't know how cute he could get with OF-P swaps mid-inning.

Angels however, much like the Cubs, need way more than a new manager if they want to make it to October next year.

If we win 100 games next year, it'll be the first time a team has done that four years in a row, so I don't think the Astros win 100 next year.

Fine if you want to argue semantics but they make the playoffs and immediately get booted.

They banned Rebel flag stuff a few years ago, then went and introduced a costumed Colonel Rebel after never having one before. Dunno if they still use it as I try not to visit that shithole.

Hello, can someone answer these questions?

1. Why Josh Reddick is an everyday player?
2. Statistically, should Reddick be an everyday player?

He's still a very good defensive outfielder and his OPS isn't that far below league average. Most teams have to put worse 8/9 hitters out there.

That said, I think the Astros will look to trade him this offseason. Kyle Tucker has looked a lot better this year in limited PAs, Jake Marisnick will always the be the 4th outfielder, and while Reddick isn't awful yet, he's not a guy you want to be paying 13 mil a year in his mid 30s when you're in win-now mode.

Jack Flaherty finishes the season as #1 in the league in WHIP and H/9 which is absolutely ridiculous.

First 17 starts: 90 IP, 4.90 ERA, 1.288 WHIP, 8.5 H/9, 10.1 K/9, .771 OPS against

Last 16 starts: 106.1 IP, 0.93 ERA, 0.696 WHIP, 4.2 H/9, 11 K/9, .419 OPS against

Something clicked for him and I hope it never ends. (Also the Cardinals were 10-6 in his last 16 starts what a bunch of drat idiots)
