The one that honestly bugs me most is just the enemy callout because I’ll have not seen the enemy and it gets you for a second stressed and look around a bit. Sometimes it’s one that ran across your line of sight at distance too. The shotguns might honestly be too good. Firing time feels super fast. Maps that have indoor elements they’re godlike. The one two shot break reload shotgun is so fun. On ground war the map with the tall buildings I seriously staked out the stairwell and got so many kills. You’ll almost always win if you’re quick because they’ll generally have to aim down sight with any guns and the shotguns can just hip fire.

I was hidden from a guy tonight, my character calls out ENEMY, guy spins on his heels and sprays in my direction for the kill. This poo poo wasn't necessary.

The callout you do when an enemy has been spotted is very helpful to me, cause I never see it myself. Also, when I get [SPOTTED] because of a UAV I just stay put in a corner and let the enemy come to my visible marker and I get some easy kills. It's very helpful that one, you can use that in your advantage.

the callout thing is perhaps one of the single most stupid loving design decisions ive seen in a video game ~* ~* elaborately decides between the appropriate stealth perks and build ~* ~* ~ * ~ * kindly announces presence to all enemies ~* ~*

I don't know what magic they spun but the game looks actually incredible. It feels like the first cod where you can't immediately tell it's the quake engine in a fancy dress. I haven't had much luck playing with goons yet. I've had like 2 guys, one of which who's voice garbles or cuts off every time he speaks, and another who kept ctd last night. Discord seems very quiet compared to apex right above it. What gives? (codo#1395)

Call outs should be mapped to a button, cause yeah, there's no point in running a stealth build when your dude just starts screaming as you're trying to get the jump on someone. There has been so much camping in TDM lately. Just entire teams held up in one building watching every angle. It's really boring, and probably adds to my frustration about shotguns.

Has IW addressed any sort of changes to Spec Ops? I really want to love that mode but I think it desperately needs an easier difficulty and a big bump to weapon XP gain. Like, this should be the perfect mode for leveling weird weapons you aren’t sure about but the XP it gives is such crap.

Anyone else see the glitch where equipping charms on your gun basically doubles your hipfire bloom? It’s sad because I just earned my first charm last night and now I have to take it off all my loadouts.

C4 needs to explode faster and the riot shield needs to be able to bash out slightly farther. Otherwise, i'm having a blast with my shield/flash/C4 combo with the explosives lessening perk, restock, and the tactical lessening perk. Still die a lot but I generally complain less about it than normal, especially in Dom games since I'm just playing point capturerer. Also I think I need to turn up my sensitivity when running the shield since I sometimes feel a hair slow when I'm getting flanked. I also need to either get better with the pistol or remember to pick up a weapon. But man is it ever fun to solo cap a point while under heavy fire, even if I die seconds after it happens.

Honestly, if they spin this as “show your style, but at a cost” I would 100% support that and you would see streamers all over posting videos about trying to get a nuke with every charm equipped.

Im having fun with the game but objective modes are the only way to play. TDM and FFA are useless gamemodes right now they feel totally awful everyone camps.

If you want to play TDM, play realistic. You can still get steamrolled and hosed over, but playing as a quick, constantly moving ninja is far easier when most of the HUD related tools are gone.

Everyone seems to be hesitant to play realism because their first reaction is “no way I hate hardcore” but then they play it and realize it’s nothing like hardcore. It’s basically just a slightly slower TDM where you get slammed by Killstreaks way less. It also makes the killstreaks you do get feel a lot more valuable. Like a UAV is a game changer for that brief period. Its great and everyone should try it. Also Cyber Attack absolutely owns and needs more love.

If anyone else is a dumb idiot like me; there's a small, white dot on the right side of your screen that indicates whether or not your field item is ready on realism. Also, Gunfight could do with less rounds also.
