Next thing I know, I'm watching the kill cam and it shows them shooting before I am in a position where I can see them. When I'm running Cold-Blooded, Ghost and Dead Silence, it makes me wonder if it was luck for them, me being bad or something screwy with the net-code.

It's a combination of: Skill based match making meaning if you're competent, the other guys are also competent People have been playing cod for a long rear end time and the only learning curve they need for this game is learn the maps and be more patient (and also just pick overkill+m4+725) Low ttk Bad netcode People only obviously showing off sick replays or really dumb deaths

Constellation I posted:It's a combination of: I really think a lot if it is coming down to the fact that when it was Battlefield vs. Modern Warfare, I always went with the Battlefield series and the last CoD game I really played was Modern Warfare 2. It doesn't help that the last Battlefield game I really played was Hardline, so this is pretty much the first online FPS I've played in about 4 years. With all that being said, I'm having a blast most of the time and can't wait to see what the game looks like after I upgrade my video card over the holidays.

Is it weird that I want to main an Assault Rifle other than the M4 purely out of spite? The M13 feels pretty nice. Also the MP7, but mentally I have to get over my "tiny gun" hangup. Because I am a Bigly strong American Man, you see. Somehow I always und up back at the Mk2 though. I have a Long Range Mk2 loadout and an ADS Mk2 loadout. Game is fun.

It's a strong chunky boy and each shot feels impactful. Low fire rate means you'll get mulched if you get in a close range fight, but that's what the D.eagle or .357 are there for. I too have a disdain for the M4 simply because it is popular and good. It makes me feel so much better whooping rear end with a less powerful gun. I think the strangest complaint I see (mostly on Reddit) is the hate for SBMM. So I agree that there should probably be a casual mode of games that just throws everyone together, but holy lol at all these whiny nerds bitching about having to play people that are as good as them. Half the threads on the MW subreddit are "SBMM has destroyed this game". People are so mad that they don't get to regularly clown on people who only play a few hours a week and instead have to play against people of similar skill (like every other competitive game that exists now). I like how the new insult is calling people "sweaty", as though every single person on there isn't also rocking M4/725 and white knuckle gripping their controllers. Honestly, if I had one real complaint (besides terrible netcode, goddamn do I still die at least 3-5 times every match from turning a corner, spotting an enemy, and freezing for 2 seconds) it would be Overkill. It is way too powerful of a perk, considering the huge importance of choosing guns. I think it should basically not exist, or there should be one Tier of perks that is just all the OP poo poo so you have to choose one. I don't run it because I like to make gimmicky builds, but the difference between having to use a side weapon or being able to rock two incredibly powerful mains is so significant.

The other guns might not be as efficient but what is the point of buying a shoot game if you are going to use a single gun for 80 hours straight? I'm the kind of guy who plays the objective at any cost so it's not like I am going to be getting MLGPRO killstreaks anyways.

I find it is best used when weaving in and out of cover. It two shots over most distances and a lot of morons just stand still while trying to snipe you with an assault rifle, so proper positioning makes leveling it pretty easy.

I don't use guns anymore in this game because I basically lose like 60% of gunfights even if they don't see me before I fire first and get 2 or 3 bullets into them because somehow they will still whip around, lock onto my head and instantly kill me. But I'm perfectly happy going like 5-15 in a dom game with my shield, spear (RPG) and special delivery packages. I'll just constantly run at and cap points even if I'm all alone because it's hilarious to me when I manage to solo cap a point while two or three people are trying to kill me through the shield. Plus it's hilarious watching how people react to the shield. It's fun watching people back away from me and around a corner because I just toss a package at them and give them a rude surprise. However, it is really disappointing when you get into a staredown with someone who is trying to figure out how to deal with me and then one of his teammates kills me from a flank. Still wish the shield hit was a little better and more powerful.

The AK47 is an amazing gun, and we had some enemies in the lobby yesterday who were dropping them and I'd pick them up every single time. It's a lot of fun.

AK is fantastic, you can basically set up 4 totally different classes of guns when you unlock all the attachments: -a run and gun with the shorter barrel, the 40 round magazine and bayonet if you are feeling spicy -a marksman version once you unlock the Romanian Barrel -an RPK clone with the drum magazine -and just a ye ol classic with all the middle of the line handling, recoil and aim-time stats

Search and Destroy is the worst game mode for people who suck. "Oh no, I got myself killed in the first 30 seconds. Now to wait several minutes for the match to finish because the teams would rather camp themselves instead of going for the damned objectives." Cyber Attack is adjacent to it, but at least there is the possibility of revival. Anyway, thank god they let you filter out game types in the quickplay.

I’m also a big fan of an overkill oden mp5. I set up the oden with the colossal suppressor, 810mm, 3x, and whatever other recoil control I can swing. It has absolutely terrible mobility but the damage and controllability is superb so I use for posting up and covering high traffic lanes to objectives. The mp5 is set up for maximum mobility and importantly, uses the mp5sd integrated suppressor barrel which hides death markers to the enemy team. With its movement speed attachments, ghost, and dead silence, repositioning can be accomplished very quickly since run speed is tied to whichever weapon is currently equipped. I keep equipping new favorite guns, which just made me realize that this game is less about picking meta guns and more about finding the one that subjectively feels the best, as almost all of them are uniquely viable and fun. I did just unlock the SVD blueprint from the best of the best mission chain so I’ll probably give that a whirl instead of the oden.

If the game forgets the challenge that i'm tracking, then did i lose my progress? I'm trying to do a hard one, but the game automatically unchecked the challenge. The game shows that im on step 4 of 7, but step 4 is listed as 0%. I try to re-enable the challenge, but it unchecks itself after every game. Do i really have to recheck this every game? Challenges were "working" for me until i tried this one...

I just unlocked the short AKSU barrel for the AK and even though it's a fun gun to use it's still an m4 that's just more effort for less reward because the other guy has a higher rof and no recoil. e: holy crap I finally did it

The most frustrating build I've run into so far has got to be overkilled riot shield/725. Even post nerf that thing is still completely decimates. Whenever I get killed by someone jumping around the corner with their 725 out another part of me dies.
