Also respeccing is cheap and easy to do at any time so don't feel like the choices you're making at the early to mid levels should have to effect what you do in the endgame. Just choose whichever skills seem the best for your character at point you're currently at.

Yeah early on I focus on survivability skills more than anything because you usually don't have enough skill points until level 30 or so to put together a synergy build.

Did the Takedown with a bunch of Internet randoms. I was doing Mayhem 1 with an all-orange gearset, so nothing super strenuous, but it still felt like a nice achievement, especially since I carried my team pretty hard. Double Barrel plus the Ion Cannon is just as terrifying as I thought it would be.

Cool Moze glitch: Get a shield with + move speed when full. Kill some dudes and get some phalanx stacks. If you’re at full health, when each individual phalanx stack decays, you’ll get the movespeed bonus. Over and over. Not sure if there is a cap. It stops either when you get damaged or when you successfully shoot an enemy, I think. EDIT: or when you get more stacks so your shield increases, obviously. Pretty fun. The UI on this game feels so lovely with mouse and keyboard I prefer to play with a controller, which is rare for an FPS. Fortunately the combat feels awesome even on a controller.

If I want to farm KillaVolt on Mayhem 4, and assuming all I have are terrible guns (because that's why I need to farm KV) what guns should I use? Is he immune to shock, or should I still bring shock to bring down his shields fast? Also, I have the most important piece of equipment, the Transformer shield, so I'm all set there =)

Forget about shock, that's out, he's immune to it. And consider maybe dropping down to Mayhem 2 or 3 for now, until you get a few more powerful weapons. He still drops a lot of good loot at those levels, I wouldn't waste time whittling down his health in Mayhem 4 until you've got better weapons/a more fine tuned build for the job.

Pretty sure his backpack is the sweet spot and not his head. When his shield is down you can also just shoot him in the dick, too. If your aim is poo poo or you'd just rather not care, the Flakker is still overpowered imo

What is the earliest you can get to and do a Circle of Slaughter? A absolutely can't take playing through the story at this point since it's basically "Waiting for people to finish talking and doors to open: The Game". It's a waste of time and just want to kill poo poo, get loot and level up. There is the Cistern of Slaughter in the Meridian Metroplex but the door to it is locked for me at lvl 10. According to the Internet, no one has a clue what triggers it to open and some say that for them it never does, so it may be bugged. I've also tried matchmaking, and haven't found a single other player, let alone a group. I just want to level and kill things without having to endure the campaign. Can you unlock the fast travel to these places by joining a player who has unlocked them? Help!

Cistern of Slaughter in the Meridian Metroplex will not open until you have progressed to Eden 6 and talked to Wainright Jakob in his mansion on the specific character and playthrough you're on. Until you do that the door will not open. I agree that the cutscense and scripted talking really get in the way after you beat the game. I wish you could skip through all of it and get to the fighting.

as long as the quest is complete they should respawn if you exit out to the menu, sometimes you need to complete the first objective of the next quest if it’s a story mission
