stalin was a brilliant fixer who due to the timing of lenin's death, and being one of the few he fully trusted, had to move to the limelight. props to our beautiful georgian boy for helping craft a stable state for the revisionists to slowly disassemble

Everyone should listen to the Behind the Bastards episode on stalin. I don't know nor do I care if it's all true, but the idea of stalin inviting his comrades over for 12+ drinking sessions and throwing orange peels at people all day makes me laugh

no fear
i renounce all of stalin's crimes (monty burns "to a bigger house voice) as the combined efforts of all the anticommunist, anti-Stalinist, researchers in the world over a period of more than 70 years - "all the King's horses and all the King's men" - and with the facilities of all the world's best libraries and archives, have not been able to come up with a single, genuine "crime of Stalin" of the period 1932-1945

the radio war nerd episode about cold war science talking about a socialist eugenicist wanting to impregnate Russian women with Stalin's seed was loving hilarious

This video is utterly fascinating in that I can’t tell if it’s meant to be satire and yet was also educational in explaining why certain communists believe what they believe.

Some of the comments on the video appear to come from true believers. This does not inform the sincerity of the video maker though. The weird soundtrack is what really gives me a feeling of derealization, and throws my sincerity detector off. Is it derangement or high concentration irony?

it cant be ironic because if you actually listen to the video the critique of mtws who say that merely any third world revolution is good enough is in fact very flawed and not a Marxist position is correct as hell and only a salty, unread mtw would say it has to be an ironic take

lol

it was made by an lf poster who made up an entire split from mtw to make them mad. iirc the monkey smashes heaven dudes wrote a bunch of long essays denouncing their revisionism.
