hard counter posted:teens are, virtually as a rule, pretty annoying at theatres especially in groups but they're also easily avoided since there's only a couple of days and a handful of hours that works for them most of the year I was about 3/4 through Once Upon a Time in Hollywood when like 4 teens got up, and their leader shouted "THIS MOVIE IS GAY... (F slur)!!!!!" flipped everyone off

TECHNICALLY FRIDAY I bet you all thought I had forgotten! Well I didn't! Instead I was asleep which could be pretty standard for this kinda thing going forward. I have no idea how well tonight is gonna work! All the movies should be fine but I didn't check for audio issues! MOVIE ONE This is a movie about a korean who fought a battle when real real outnumbered! It's two hours long which surely makes up for the time I spent sleeping instead of advertising! MOVIE TWO Do not miss your chance to catch Species 1995, it's a real stinker! I couldn't even get confirmation that imdb had the right copy of species on it so we get to find out together! The cover art for the blu ray dvd ALMOST matched the artwork they used for the youtube video though. MOVIE THREE You've fuckin seen wargames don't even pretend you haven't Edit- See all of these RIGHT NOW at http://psp-tv.com/r/leperscolony

The Admiral is loving awesome. I like 300: Rise of an Empire more than the original film. The Admiral is like 300 2 on steroids.

Groovelord Neato posted:I've watched it several times and am mad I skipped it in the theatres because I'd heard it made Deckard being a replicant canon. I like it a lot more than the original. My only complaint with the movie is with what I can only assume is the calibration scenes because that part is never actually explained. Its just Ryan Gosling repeating nonsense for a good chunk of the movie without explaining anything about what's going on.

reignofevil posted:MOVIE TWO Fun fact: This is the movie that spawned the myth of the Chupacabra, which seems like an ancient creature of folklore but actually resulted from some lady watching this film in 1995 and then getting spooked by a coyote or something.

Yeah you really got to strap in because it is AN ENTIRE HOUR OF BATTLE in a two hour movie but it's very enjoyable if you're into seeing old korean men stoically stare death in the face

species is good, actually. the ads in 1995 made it seem like a slick stylish movie but it's b movie as hell. love it

ah species, back when a mainstream movie could get by on having the premise of a softcore porno and therefore hold the promise of boobies it was an unspoken but sacred covenant between cinema and teenager

i saw underwater and it had maybe the most paper thin characters of all time. i like movies about the ocean so i enjoyed it tho. but really wait for this to show up on netlfix or whatever before you watch it. also i spanked it out numerous times to that species movie. gotta get it done somehow pre-internet.

A more legitimate complaint about the movie is the premise of Deckard being so in love with Rachael falls apart if you've seen the first movie since they had no chemistry. I didn't let that bother me though.

Once the daughter comes into play that becomes pretty irrelevant as he moves on from Rachel. Had a drat good bait and switch/twist with Ryan. Like drat now what? Who are you really?
